Why Woods Square, office space in Woodlands Regional Centre
Woods Square offers total of 466 ‘Strata’ and ‘Solo’ office space for sale and is within a mixed development including retail space.
Adopting a community concept, it has a direct link to Woodlands MRT station, and is connected with surrounding buildings such as Causeway Point, Civic Centre, etc at basement, 1st and 2nd levels.
Woodlands MRT station will become an MRT interchange for NS and TEL MRT lines, and is one stop away from future Cross-border Rail Link.
The retail space is not for sale, thus a good retail tenant mix can be maintained.
Woods Square offers office space, an asset that is currently lacking in northern part of Singapore, for companies providing support to potential businesses in North Coast Innovation Corridor.
The next commercial site, and the last one under Masterplan 2014 for Woodlands, has strict conditions to fulfill and is restricted to only three strata lots. This means their office space will be for lease only.
Another CBD in the making at Woodlands Regional Centre?
[Last updated: 2 Apr 2019] After years of planning and development at Jurong Lake District, it has since become 2nd CBD of Singapore.
To decentralise further economic activities from Singapore CBD, Woodlands Regional Centre will anchor the development of the North Coast into an innovative corridor buzzing with ideas, creative design and new technologies.
In recent release of draft Master Plan 2019 by URA, new spaces for business, industry, research & development, and learning & innovation will be introduced to Woodlands Regional Centre over next 15 years.
Woodlands Central will be a regional business hub, with office and retail developments to make it a bustling destination for residents of the North.
Woodlands Regional Centre will capitalise on the proximity to the waterfront. As shown in video above, the existing waterfront park will be extended and connectivity will be enhanced via a pair of signature green boulevards and a pedestrian mall that will connect the two districts of Woodlands Central and Woodlands North Coast to the waterfront.
Opening of MRT stations at Canberra on NSL and stations along Thomson-East Coast Line in 2019 will enhance connectivity across the North zone.
Further developments include speedier connectivity to town via North South Corridor by car or bus, and connectivity to Malaysia via Singapore-JB Rapid Transit System.
